Dr. Sheldon Zinberg is the Founder and driving force behind Nifty after Fifty. Nifty after Fifty is the result of his many years of learning, teaching, and writing about health and fitness for people over fifty, and his own lifelong pursuit of fitness. Dr. Zinberg’s career as a physician, author, professor, and entrepreneur has been distinguished at every phase.

He worked with patients in private practice for 35 years. He established one of the largest, most successful Internal Medical consultation groups in California. He went on to found CareMore Medical Group, where he developed innovative programs that dramatically improved the delivery of healthcare services of almost 100,000 people.

Caring for his employees as much as his patients, he promoted and developed an Employee Stock Ownership Plan for CareMore employees, then successfully negotiated the sale of CareMore Medical Enterprises to J.P. Morgan Partners, LLC. As an entrepreneur and administrator, he has been extraordinarily successful, without ever forgetting to put people first.

Having been a Clinical Professor of Medicine at UCI/CCM and Western University of Health Sciences, Dr. Zinberg now continues to teach via lectures, TV, radio, and print interviews. He deeply believes that everyone and anyone can be Nifty after Fifty.
